Healthy eating

Selling food is our core business. But we believe we should do more than just sell. We have a responsibility to provide customers with products, services and information that allow them to make healthy lifestyle choices. We are committed to helping our communities eat nutritiously, affordably.

Food safety is paramount to our business. We have a responsibility to continuously tighten our food safety standards and control systems, from the supply chain to the stores. We extend this responsibility by educating customers in safe food handling.

Responsible sourcing

Understanding the social and environmental impact of the products we sell– particularly our private brands - is important to us. This helps us progressively increase the proportion of sustainably-produced goods in our stores whilst working together with our suppliers to ensure fair labor practices in our supply chain through our vendor code of conduct.
